Vireo System Upgrade Now Available!

Signami has announced that an upgrade to the Vireo System internal power supplies is available, giving them the capability to operate with 400hz power systems, in addition to the 50/60hz capability. This would allow for the use with aircraft deployments and not have the need for a power converter.
Also available, an upgrade and update to internal connectivity components offering a more stable environment than before.

7500EXL - New "Super-User" Feature

Signami has added the ability for a “super-user” to adjust various internal parameters within the Adaptive Equalizer and Digital Phase-Locked Loop. The default parameters have been provided by the manufacturer (Signami) in accordance with laboratory test results based on Bit Error (BER) noise tests for all modulations.
While these settings cover a broad range of signals in the presence of noise, fading, and multi-path, not all ranges will always be covered by the default factory parameter settings. To access ‘Tune Control’ screen the manufacturer provides a ‘super-user’ password to allow a highly trained and proficient 7500EXL user to change the parameters for particular signals of interest (SOI) that may require changes in the Phase Lock Loop and adaptive equalizer parameters and indicators. Once tuned for the SOI, these settings can be saved and recalled later by any user at any time.

SignalWorks 4.0 - New Analyzing Ability

New with SIGNALWORKS® is the ability to analyze randomized signals for overhead removal, justification and control bits, with demultiplexing capability along with interleaving and tributary definition. SIGNALWORKS® processing is compatible with the 7500EXL real time TDM communications demodulator, and facilitates integrated analysis and processing of non-standard bit framing with overhead, justification, and control bit identification and removal.
SignalWorks 4.0 now has comprehensive Forward Error Correction (FEC) encoding/decoding capabilities including Reed Solomon and Viterbi convolutional codes. Reed Solomon block coding is fully programmable using any size block codes. Viterbi convolutional encoding and decoding is also fully configurable including the code generating polynomial, punctured codes; and includes all standard rates such as 1/3, 2/3, 3/4, and 7/8.
